Trustee & Board Members
Our Board of Trustees are collectively responsible for the governance of the organisation, providing strategic advice and constructive challenge to the Chief Executive Officer and the Executive Leadership Team. All to ensure that we work to make a lasting difference for children across the world.
Whilst they are not responsible for the day-to-day running of our organisation, our Trustees play a very important role in being ‘the guardians of our purpose’, setting the strategic direction for the organisation, agreeing major policy decisions and approving budgets that put the strategic and policy decisions into practice.
They are the ‘supportive and governing friends’ to the Executive Leadership Team and ensure that we have a clear strategy so we succeed in our goal to change the lives of children for the better.
These roles are unpaid and we rely on them to share their passion, skills, knowledge and experience to help us to achieve our goals.
