Policy, Advocacy & Research

Our Policy, Advocacy and Research professionals share our evidence-based insights, recommendations and progress to actively engage and apply pressure to national and international decision-makers so we can change the lives of children for the better.

This team of professionals works together to influence, advocate and campaign to challenge systems, behaviours, policies, processes and cultural and social norms that negatively impact children’s rights.

Our Policy and Advocacy professionals aim to achieve positive change to policies and legislation affecting children around the world, supported by evidence gathered and generated by our Research colleagues, on issues such as conflict and humanitarian, education, health, inequality, financing, nutrition and UK poverty.

Colleagues in these roles share knowledge and insights to shape policies which help to uphold children’s rights, and devise strategies to ensure they are taken on board and put into practice by policy makers in governments, the private sector and international institutions.
